The editorial process is complex and multifaceted. In cases where reviewers are in agreement, the editor’s task becomes more straightforward, requiring little intervention. However, when there is disparity among the reviewers, the editor’s role becomes critical. The “review number 3” phenomenon has been widely discussed as a prime example of the latter scenario, in which an exceptionally negative, divergent review counters two highly positive ones.

Rather than being constrained by such a scenario, our experienced editors will undertake a personalized approach to each case, taking into consideration all angles.
